Lessen

Lesaanbod

Lessons

Classes

Nowadays we are no longer just a drum school. You can sign up for singing lessons, songwriting, guitar lessons, and bass guitar lessons. From September onwards, we will also be offering a course called ‘music production’. This is for teenagers and adults who are interested in learning more about making music with a computer.

Teachers

Muziekschool Robin is not only Robin anymore. Since the amount of students kept growing I am joined by drummers Nitin Parree, Erik Köhl, Bas Bouma, Frits Steeghs and Ben Tupper. All are graduates from the Conservatory and share the love for drums.

Beginners

Never played music before? No problem.
During the lessons we will focus on getting a good foundation and quickly you will be able to play or sing along to your favourite bands.

Advanced

Already playing music for some time or do you want to do audition for the Conservatory? You determine your goals and together we will work towards them.

Performance

Every year students perform at the end of the year. The students rehearsed a song they liked and played along to the track on a great stage. For more info check out our Instagram or facebook. @muziekschoolrobin

Location

The lessons are held at Kometensingel 152 in Amsterdam noord. We are located in a beautiful old Church that is nowadays called the JOYJOYJOY Basilika.

Prices

Trial lesson

Want to try a single lesson before signing up? That’s possible! A trial lesson lasts 30 minutes and costs just €25. During this lesson you’ll get a feel for the basics and have the chance to meet your teacher.

Weekly lessons

With weekly lessons you pay a fixed amount per month. Over a school year, 38 lessons are given, spread across 10 months, running from September to June. We follow the school holiday schedule for Amsterdam primary schools. You can view the schedule here. It’s possible to join at a later point in the year, which means some months may have more lessons than others due to school holidays.

You pay for lessons as a kind of membership rather than per individual lesson — this keeps the administration simple. You can start lessons at any point during the year; the monthly rate stays the same.
